I read quite a few reviews on this series, as I was deciding whether or not to pick up the third book, and I see one major criticism across reviews- there is not enough character development. To a point, I have to agree. But the story is a good one, and despite needed some more fine tuning and detailing the characters out a bit more, I think this was a good read, continuing the story from the first book. The length is good, not too long, but not so short you feel like you wasted your money, and its good sci-fi. I think the positives outweigh the negatives, and the story continues nicely. I've just picked up the third installment, and will be reading it soon.Product details

Continuation of book 1, beautifully written with plot twists and turns adding t the story line making it every bit as good as Book 1.
Mystery still surrounds the characters and is slowly doled out like pieces of candy. Loved the book!
After I read the first book in this series, I wasn't interested in reading the others. Luckily, I read faster than the authors I like write, so I gave this a second look.
I'm very glad I did.
A well-written story, great characters, and a plot that just keeps coming. I recommend this.
I have become a big fan of e-published authors since I bought my first several years ago. I really enjoy seeing the stories that people have been able to publish this way. The intersteller age is a wonderful perspective on our history and provides an imaginative theory of where we came from.
Great writing, active story line, good knowledge of science, so believable. I can't wait to read the last book in the trilogy. Characters are well developed and filled with a moral characteristics. If you like this genre you will love this book!
A fantastic read, I bought this as soon as I finished the first book. A fast-paced story to the end with high intrigue - I had to buy the third book as soon as I finished this one.

He also did not tell all the truth about Alpha Centauri. His friend Major Justin Turner is still blind but provides for Alex. The pirates reappear and kidnap Alex, Justin, and more. The pirates also got their hands on the quantized material.. A Really Good Sequel.
Very good science fiction story. New and interesting premise. Kept me reading through the entire series. I enjoy when a book pulls me along. Unfortunately, It doesn't leave me time to do other things like chores around the house.
